UTA Black Belt Grading – 21st September 2025
On Sunday 21st September 2025, the hall was filled with focus, energy, and determination as 23 dedicated Taekwon-Do students stepped up to take part in the UTA Black Belt grading. This important event marked not only a test of skill but also a celebration of years of hard work, discipline, and perseverance.
A Full Day of Commitment
The day began at 9:00am with a pre-grading session, where candidates had the opportunity to sharpen their techniques and prepare their minds for the challenge ahead. This was followed by the theory exam, a vital part of the grading that ensures every student has a deep understanding of Taekwon-Do’s history, philosophy, and technical knowledge.
After a short break, the atmosphere shifted as we moved into the afternoon practical grading. Here, students demonstrated patterns, sparring, self-defence, destruction techniques, and the mental focus that sets a true martial artist apart.
The Spirit of the Black Belt Journey
Every candidate showed incredible focus, determination, and respect, embodying the values that make Taekwon-Do such a powerful art. For many, this grading was not just about achieving the next belt, but about proving to themselves how far they have come on their martial arts journey.
🌟 The Black Belt is not the end, but a new beginning – and today’s achievements are proof of the dedication our students carry both inside and outside the dojang.
Congratulations to Our Candidates
👏 We are immensely proud of all 23 students who took part. Reaching this stage is already a huge achievement, and every one of you showed the courage to test yourself under pressure. Whether this was your first Dan grading or a step higher, today will be remembered as a milestone in your Taekwon-Do journey.
Special Thanks to Our Examiners

Today’s UTA Black Belt Grading was a powerful reminder that Taekwon-Do is about much more than techniques – it’s about personal growth, discipline, and resilience. To all our students: keep training hard, supporting each other, and striving for excellence. The journey continues!
Once again, congratulations to all of our candidates – you inspire us with your dedication, and we are honoured to share this milestone with you.
